Westward Expansion Reflection

 

1) Answer Essential Questions:

What motivates and justifies expanding into new land?

People want to expand lands because of many reasons. For example, gain land, farming, gold. They think that they will win the war and get what they want. Moreover, they gain lands to make a settlement. Also, they use lands to make more groups for their country. Lastly, they want to find more gold and buy thing that they want.

2) How does what you learned connect to the real world?

What I learn connects to the real world because everthing in Social studies is history. History is memorise of past till nowadays world. They are some experiences that we should use it but some be can learn from it as a lesson. However, in this unit is about the expanding lands anf traveling throughtout American. Now, USA is one of the most powerful country in the world. This means that this really connects to the real world.

3) Evidence (Presentations, Essays, Reports, Posters, etc) Choose one piece of evidence from this unit that you will post on Wix and explain why you chose this (ex. it was the most interesting, challenging, or made you grow as a student)

This evidence was challening because before making the article we need to find two more sources for the information. For me the first step is always hard because this unit that I learn is new thing for me and everyone so, I need help from the teacher and learn it by my own. After this we need to write and actual article draft and it takes like 3 classes to finish one of the Article.
