Analyzing Plot and Conflict.

Essential Questions:

What makes a story worth telling?

• A great story can make you feel the emotions. The one thing is for sure: you will give full attention and you might forget your own problems. Somethings the amazing and unusual situations presented will stay with you for a long time after you close the book or turn away from the screen.

What's worth the effort?

• When you put a really hard effort on some things that you really want to do it. If u want to win yourself you need to have motivation to pass through obstacles to the achieve. For example, The story I have read is called “Raymond’s run” She has  motivation to help her successful in the end of the story. “If you dream it, you can do it”  it seems to connect with action

         so, if you want to successful then you have to do it.  

 

Is any plan foolproof?

• No, because we can assume the future or know something that is not happening yet. Sometimes it works but sometimes it doesn’t so, you should have caution and create the plans for support the first plan. This would help you when the plan goes wrong. For example, if next week, we plan to go to the beach at north of thailand but the day that we travel to the north it is raining. However, every plan is not foolproof.

 

When does trash become treasure?

• “One man’s trash become another man's treasure” I think this is about the memorise and thing that you love. It can be related to the situations that make you remember things that  is treasure to you. Sometimes, people have to move from one place to another also, they need to clean up and keep things. For example  My grade mother she has shirt that looks really old but she didn’t let anyone throw it away because this shirt’s her mother that always use and it is the only things that remind she every time when she needs to do somethings important

What makes you suspicious?

• It depends on the situations because some people don’t really show the suspicious and delicate their actions would give me a clue. For example, when someone is lying, they always Avoiding eye contact when talking, cross arms, touching their hair, give too much explanation, keep walking, whistle, try to change the topic of conversation, don’t answer my question, playing with their fingers,  don’t  behaving as they normally would, loose-fitting clothes, keeping hands in pockets or cupping hands (as in holding a triggering device). Come up with excuses, Prepare your speech, Set up an escape route. These are the actions which give the suspicious.

 

How do great stories begin?

• The great stories could begin with many different ways. The first wat it can begins with actions, dialog, mystery, Revisit the beginning when you reach the end. But mostly it always comes up with something mystery and give me the question “why”.

 

How does what you learned connect to the real world?

• This is connect to the real world by knowing that trash can be treasure for somebody else and it worth than the money because it parts of the life that we were facing. Something can be respersent god and bad thing. For exampple, diary, maybe some peopl might found that it's just a note about that person feeling but diary can be things tha remind that person feeling's.

 

How did you develop or grow as a student through this unit?

• I grew as a student by knowing more academic vocabulary but the analyzing the plot. For example, knowing that the other word to called the beginning of the book is Exposition, the other word of problems is conflic and other word for the ending of the book is resolution. Moreover, this makes me more comfortable to tell my story by using big word and earn more EP in classcraft where we need to earn our poins as a team in Language Art class.

As you look at the work that you have completed throughout this unit, what are your strengths?

• ​I think my strength throughtout this unit is notice part of the climax and resolution. As I already mention that resolution is the end of the book but the climax is the most exciting part in the story. I learn alot of vocabulary by takeing a test and reading more short stories that teacher give me to read.

 

As you look at the work that you have completed throughout this unit, what do you think you could improve?

• I think the thing that I should improve is conflict because sometimes I don't really get the story and this makes me confuse between conflic and rising action. Moreover, some academic vocabulary that I never not usually seen it, so, I think this is all I have to improve and keep growing as a student.
