Thermodynamics
Unit Overview: For students to learn the properties and rules of thermodynamics. They will gain understanding of the laws of thermodynamics as well as confirm the properties of thermodynamics through experiment. The students be able to accurately be able to represent these properties and characteristics through words or mathematical representations.
Personal Achievement: What is something that you are proud of achieving for this unit?
This unit I have learned the law of thermodynamics. I am able to know that energy cannot be destroyed or created. I am able to understand what is thermodynamics, however, I need to improved about using mathematical to communicate scientific ideas.
Enduring Understanding:
The Law of Conservation - energy cannot be created or destroyed
The Second Law of Thermodynamics - a systems ability to do work decreases each time
The Third Law of Thermodynamics - As temperature approaches absolute zero, the entropy of a system approaches a constant
