Protestant Reformation Reflection

 

What caused Christianity to split into Catholicism and Protestantism?

Martin Luther who went to Rome and spot that the pope was corrupt in the Catholic church. The church had started to lose power and change the meaning of christianity because of how popes were more conscious of ruling places and gaining luxuries rather than teaching bible and spreading christian religion.

How does what we learned connect to the real world?

The Protestant Reformation connects to the real world because this is how protestantism was formed. The reformation was responsible for people believes without the Protestant Reformation, people wouldn’t have the variety of opinions which we have now and there would be no sign of religious peace because people believe in the wrong types of Christianity .

 

Choose one piece of work that you completed this unit.  What did you learn from this piece of work? Was it interesting? 

I did make a presentation about the Protestant Reformation in powtoon. I got to do research and carefully organize my information to make the easiest way for understanding. I got to review all the information that I learned throughout this unit again in this piece of work. I think it was interesting for me because I had leaned more of research skills and work on artistic to make the animation presentation and easy to read and understandable. I did organize and gather facts and information into one powtoon. It did teach up to learn more skills because it makes us have to choose only main ideas/ key points of the information and make it as beautiful as you wish- I love powtoon.
